PLA (polylactide) is a plant-based plastic made from corn, sugarcane, or beetroots. Unlike petroleum-based plastics, PLA is biodegradable in industrial conditions, and its production results in lower CO₂ emissions. Sunlu PLA is non-toxic, odorless, and safe for everyday use – ideal for contact with water and soap. PLA is not resistant to prolonged exposure to weather conditions (sun, rain, frost, and temperatures above 60°C). It is best used indoors.
